John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
If Jesus didn't love you, He would not have died in your place on a cross 2,000 years before you were even born. He saw YOUR need, before he created the world, and came up with a plan to rescue you, and bring YOU to Himself. He paid the price for YOUR sins, in your place. Now that's love. May I say, "Come to Jesus, he loves YOU perfectly." And you have nothing to fear from a God who loves you so much, he was willing to shed His very own blood to redeem you. He was buried, and raised to LIFE again on the third day, so that He might impart to you the very LIFE that raise Him from the dead. And that LIFE is ETERNAL LIFE. You can do nothing of yourself to earn it, and you can do nothing to lose it. It's the gift of God.
So the answer to this question is a resounding YES. It's called unconditional love. Not something you've earned, but a gift from your heavenly father.
And may I add, "come to Jesus, for LIFE. All you have to do is ask him to come and live his LIFE in and through YOU. And receive him by faith, and when you put real faith, in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he will come and live his life in you.
And I don't mean puttting faith in the first four gospels in the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The gospel message is in those letters, here and there if you can pick them out. But those first four letters, is where Jesus was fulfilling the Old Covenant between God and man. He mentions the New Covenant, but that NEW COVENANT, was not ushered in, till the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit came to live in those who had come to faith in the "FINISHED WORK OF JESUS ON THE CROSS". That was and is, the blood of the New Covenant. Paul describes it in this way;
1 Corinthians 15: 1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
This my friends is the gospel that is able to bring salvation, and once accepted by you the believer. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. And you will never be alone, ever again, he will guild you into all truth, because he is TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE.
